We're extremely happy to announce a new Fabrik Bespoke site for commercials and short film director Simon Levene. Simon is one of our longest-standing community members and his input during the time we've been developing Fabrik has been instrumental in getting us this far.

In his first year spent as a director Simon was selected as one of the ten new hottest directors in the world and premiered in the Cannes new directors showcase of 1998. He is renowned for his directorial style, which combines legendary casting and performances with a strong visual aesthetic.

Alongside his commercial work, Simon enjoys writing and directing short films. His first "Tube Poker" was in competition for the Golden Lion at the 2006 Venice Film Festival and won many international awards. Simon's short "Shoreditch Slayer" was a finalist at the 2011 Rushes Soho shorts Festival, Underwire Festival, London International Short Film Festival, International Horror & Sci-Fi Festival and New Media Festival LA.

Simon has recently worked with VCCP, AMV, JWT and Ogilvy on campaigns for clients such as Just Eat, BT, First Direct and Eircom. More recently he's been gleaning attention for his series of short commercials for The Independent. He lives in London with his most cherished possession; a signed photo of him and Woody Allen.
