Dana

Olga Shpak
Photographer

‘In the portrait, one of my favorite models is Dana. It was our first shoot with her, usually I arrange photo tests for a new model.
My main task was to convey the beauty of the girl's unusual face.
I positioned the model near the window so that the sun's rays passed through the curtain and illuminated part of the face.
I like the contrast in the lighting of the two halves of the face.
I asked Dana not to look at me through the lens, but to immerse herself in her thoughts. I am impressed by this state of thoughtfulness. For the frame, simple clothes were chosen that would not attract attention.'—@OlgaShpakArt
