Our privacy policy will help you understand what information we collect at Fabrik, and how Fabrik uses it.
When we talk about ‘Fabrik,' ‘we,' ‘our,' or ‘us' in this policy, we are referring to Fabrik Creations Ltd., the company which provides the Services. When we talk about the ‘Services' in this policy, we are referring to our online website tools and platform. Our Services are currently available for use via a web browser on your desktop or mobile device.
Fabrik Creations Limited ('Fabrik') operates the portfolio and blogging service Fabrik. It is Fabrik's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.

Subscriber Data
Content and information submitted by users to the Services is referred to in this policy as 'Subscriber Data.' As further explained below, Subscriber Data is controlled by the organisation or person that creates a Fabrik account (the ‘Subscriber'). Where Fabrik collects or processes Subscriber Data, it does so on behalf of the Subscriber.
If you create a Fabrik account, you are a ‘user,' as further described in our Terms and Conditions. If you are using the Services by invitation of a Subscriber, whether that Subscriber is your employer, another organisation, or an individual, that Subscriber determines its own policies regarding storage, access, modification, deletion, sharing, and retention of Subscriber Data which may apply to your use of the Services. Please check with the Subscriber about the policies and settings it has in place.
Other Information
Fabrik may also collect and receive the following information:
Account creation information. Users may provide information such as an email address, first and last name and password to create an account.
Billing and other information. For Subscriber that purchase a paid version of the Services, we collect and store billing address and credit card information.
Services usage information. This is information about how you are accessing and using the Services, which may include administrative and support communications with us.
Contact information. Any contact information you choose to add to your Fabrik website is stored on our platform when using the Services.
Log data. When you use the Services our servers automatically record information, including information that your browser sends when you are using it. This log data may include your IP address, your browser type and settings, the date and time of your use of the Services, information about your browser configuration and plug-ins, language preferences, and cookie data.
Device information. We may collect information about the device you are using the Services on, including what type of device it is, what operating system you are using, device settings, application IDs, unique device identifiers, and crash data. Whether we collect some or all of this information often depends on what type of device you are using and its settings.
Services integrations. If, when using the Services, you integrate with a third party service, we will connect that service to ours. The third party provider of the integration may share certain information about your account with Fabrik. However, we do not receive or store your passwords for any of these third party services.
Third party data. Fabrik may also receive information from Subscriber support software that we use to make our own information better or more useful. This might be aggregate level information, such as which IP addresses go with which zip/postcodes, or it might be more specific information, such as the general location of your internet connection and the username of your social media accounts.
Facebook Data. If you opt to add media from facebook we will store the url of that media item to use on your website.
Instagram Data. If you opt to add media from instagram we will store the url of that media item to use on your website.
Google User Data. If you opt in to connect your YouTube account to Fabrik, we store data associated with your YouTube/Google user account to enable you to easily add YouTube content to your website. Identifying data includes your Google identity, name and email address. This data is never shared with any other parties.

How we use your information
We use your information to provide and improve the Services.
Subscriber Data
Fabrik discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organisations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Fabrik's behalf or to provide services available at Fabrik's websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organisations may be located outside of your home country; by using Fabrik's websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.
Fabrik will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organisations, as described above, Fabrik discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Fabrik believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Fabrik, third parties or the public at large.
Fabrik may access and use Subscriber Data as reasonably necessary and in accordance with Subscriber's instructions to (a) provide, maintain and improve the Services; (b) to prevent or address service, security, technical issues or at a Subscriber's request in connection with subscriber support matters; (c) as required by law and (d) as set forth in our agreement with the Subscriber or as expressly permitted in writing by the Subscriber.
Delete Information
At any point you can delete all your data from account > profile > delete. This will instantly stop your site and remove all data associated to your account.
Other Information
We use other kinds of information in providing the Services. Specifically:
To understand and improve our Services. We carry out research and analyse trends to better understand how users are using the Services and improve them.
To communicate with you by:
Responding to your requests. If you contact us with a problem or question, we will use your information to respond.
Sending emails and Fabrik messages. We may send you Service and administrative emails and messages. We may also contact you to inform you about changes in our Services, our Service offerings, and important Service related notices, such as security and fraud notices. These emails and messages are considered part of the Services and you may not opt-out of them. In addition, we sometimes send emails about new product features or other news about Fabrik. You can opt out of these at any time.
Billing and account management. We use account data to administer accounts and keep track of billing and payments.
Communicating with you and marketing. We often need to contact you for invoicing, account management and similar reasons. We may also use your contact information for our own marketing or advertising purposes. You can request to opt out of these at any time.
Aggregated Statistics
Fabrik may collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its websites. For instance, Fabrik may monitor the most popular fabrik sites. Fabrik may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Fabrik does not disclose personally-identifying information within aggregated statistics.
Cookies
A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and that the visitor's browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Fabrik uses cookies to help Fabrik identify and track visitors, their usage of Fabrik websites, and their website access preferences. Fabrik visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Fabrik's websites, with the drawback that certain features of Fabrik's websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
Business Transfers
If Fabrik, or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Fabrik goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Fabrik may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.
Privacy Policy Changes
Although most changes are likely to be minor, Fabrik may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Fabrik's sole discretion. Fabrik encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. If you have a Fabrik account, you should also check your dashboard for alerts to these changes. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
